A University Health Network (UHN) and OCAD collaborative research project to design a sit/stand stool for pharmacy staging technicians. Through observation into the work flow at the Princess Margaret Hospital Chemotherapy Daycare, key insights were discovered. Two design concepts were presented that provided the technician with short-term resting stool and a more ergonomic table solution.
